Forecasting the future of technology is for dreamers who hope to innovate better tools and for the mainstream people who hope to benefit from. Although, many inventions are born in the lab and never make it into the consumer market, while others evolve beyond the pace of putting good regulations on their use.
Next, we’ll take a look at some future of technology that everyone would love to have in their life

You can live-stream directly to the Internet with this Polaroid Wi-Fi Camcorder. Check out the Polaroid iD450, a pocket sized, feature rich, HD U stream digital video camcorder.
The new iD450 allows you to capture beautiful HD video AND 16 megapixel still photographs, all with the power of this handy little pocket camcorder. The camera comes with 128 MB of internal memory. On top of that, it can easily be expanded to 64 GB simply by using the Micro SD card slot. You can take your amazing videos and stream them live, directly to the internet, or you can choose to use your iD450 as a webcam.
Collector USB Flash Drive
The Collector USB Flash Drive is one awesome concept that I’d love to see on shelves. The idea is simple. A USB Stick accommodates small capacity memory cards. You are allowed to custom configure the stick or simply keep expanding, just do your techie thing and be happy!
What a great way to use all those smaller cards lying around the house. Not sure how it deals with partitioning unless there are some smarts built-in to deal with hot swapping.
Lenovo Gadget
This Lenovo Gadget has WILD DESIGN. However, good ideas take a while to come together. Before there was Lenovo Yoga, there was “Pocket Yoga.” On top of that, check out this concept drawing of the Lenovo gadget that never made it to market–would you have bought one?
BlackBerry EMPATHY Concept
RIM has announced a new concept phone, the BlackBerry Empathy. This displays the moods of your contacts. Although, it would work by connecting the device to a biometrics ring (mood ring) that would monitor and transmit your mood in real time. However, the BlackBerry Empathy was intended to integrate real human emotions with social networking.
Apple iRing
Victor Soto has comes up with a new concept, called the iRing that enables users to control playback and volume on any of the Apple media products. Although, This stylish Apple iRing features a wireless Bluetooth connectivity that allows the iPod and iPhone consumer to operate their devices with ease.
It also sports a bright LED status display with touch-sensitive function strip and a rechargeable battery that offers a life of up to 2 days. A cradle helps you to recharge the Apple iRing and a locking feature allows you to lock the controls on the back of the ring.
Pencil Printer
Instead of throwing away your pencil stubs, you could always feed them to this concept pencil printer. Because this will convert the pencil into “ink” for your document printing needs. It supposedly works by separating the wood and lead inside the printer, which can then be used to print your document.
The cool part is that it can even erase the “print” on your documents, thanks to an eraser that you can pop into the printer too. However, considering the rising cost of printer ink nowadays, it wouldn’t be too bad if they turned this concept pencil printer into a reality.
Charge Your Mobile Phone Through Your “Breath”
Finally, the last piece of future of technology. Researchers have come up with a new device. That could breathe new life into your mobile phone by using air from your lungs to charge it. This electronic mask consists tiny wind turbines and the energy created is transferred through a cable to the electronic device. This energy is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Inventor Joco Paulo Lammoglia, from Rio de Janeiro, also revealed that the device could be used in all situations from running to sleeping. Furthermore, It can be used indoors or outdoors, or even reading a book. Besides saving energy and helping environmental preservation, it also encourages physical exercise.
